Koh Lanta" the tiny island forms the most southern district of Krabi 's Thailand. Koh Lanta yai Island is where teh district and national park office are located. The island is quite large and suffers from a spilt personality. The north end is developed, with hundreds of hotels,resort,cabin, rooms,shops,restaurant and other regular backpecker haunts. The south become more sparse, the jungle more prolific and the beaches, quieter,cleaner and more beautiful.
